6 Graduate School Talent development and the application of one’s talent to create new solutions or to reveal new science are at the core of education and research at the TU/e. This year’s nominees have shown that they excel in both developing and applying their talents and therefore deserve your full attention. Let us congratulate all nominees and hope that they will inspire other students and staff both within and outside the TU/e. TU/e contributes to the advancement of engineering and the development of technological innovations with quality education and research. With the academic annual awards, we showcase the best graduation work, the best design project report and the best promotion project. MSc Thesis Award The TU/e MSc Thesis Award 2023 consists of a certificate and an amount of € 2,500,- awarded to the best final project in one of the TU/e Master’s programs, completed in 2022. The jury assessed the final projects on the basis of the final report, using the following criteria: - sufficient innovative elements - theoretically well-founded - verifiably of adequate scientific quality - results could be published in a scientific journal - independence on the part of the student - well-written report, preferably in English - open access
